We scrapped plans to take the train out of town and instead lounged on our picnic blanket, bbq-ed with friends, soaked up the sun and turned a quick bike ride into an all afternoon tour snapping some scenic photos along the way to send to my nana in North Carolina.
oh yeah and I finally cleaned my little car, took some pictures and put her up for sale! goodbye auto, hello vespa! now i just need a buyer :)

I think it's safe to assert that I'm slightly obsessed with your life. So lovely, darling!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Where in NC is your nana? I lived in Charlotte for many years...
ReplyDelete@ kayla- you are too too sweet :)
ReplyDelete@ susan- my nana lives in Hendersonville, when I visited her over the summer I was in Charlotte for a few days, we had some amazing bbq there, but next time I am definitely asking you for tips!! Also i drove my dad to the airport at 4am and got lost without my cellphone or wallet in the 1 mile between our hotel and the airport... it took me 2 hours to find it again! but i got a great driving tour of the city. ;)
Gorgeous photos!! And how cute are you on that bike, love the hat! =)
ReplyDeleteYou look great in your outfit -I love the skirt! I bet this was so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your weekend posts - you make me want to go to the country with just a bike and a picnic basket with my husband and leave all technology behind (save for a camera, of course). Hope the weekends continue to be so lovely so you can have both the relaxing time in the country AND take trips!
